In Ahmedabad, a city known for its rich cultural heritage and rapid urban development, the removal of communities for modern infrastructure projects raises serious human rights and environmental issues. The displacement of local people without compensation could serious threat to the livelihood of those communities, while the increasing vehicular traffic contributes to air pollution, undermining both public health and environmental quality.
